In a move that should not surprise anyone, the Browns fired defensive coordinator Todd Grantham today. More is certainly to come on this topic as the Browns search for a new coordinator that will lead the defense out of the cellar and, hopefully, to the top of the league. This is a wild guess, but I’m guessing that better personnel on the field would probably help as well.
The best part about these decisions is when someone says it was decided that it was “in the best interests of the organization to move in a different direction.” What, Phil Savage and Romeo Crennel didn’t like what they saw out of the defense? They better want to move in a different direction, or we’ve got some problems.
