Defensive Coordinator Void Already Filled

There was no time wasted by the Browns in finding a new defensive coordinator. Mel Tucker, the defensive backs coach for the past three seasons, now finds himself in the position of controlling the entire defense. Lucky for him, Phil Savage is licking his lips at the thought of the impending free agency period – a perfect way to fill the holes on a very porous defense. Tucker will most assuredly have better personnel than Todd Grantham did this past season.

I didn’t even get a chance to send them my resume!

I’d have no problem if they overpaid for someone like Terrell Suggs and found a couple others for the line. Either way, Tucker should have a better group to work with considering P.S. said this off-season is dedicated to fixing the front 7.

Terrell Suggs would be nice – I’ve also got my sights set on Lance Briggs.  The Browns actually have a realistic chance of getting both of them considering the amount of cap room they’ve given themselves.
