New Page

I added a new page at the top - “Mock Drafts.”  It includes not only the Mock Draft that I completed, but a growing list of other mocks around the league.  It’s a small list for now, but it’s going to keep growing, I assure you.
If you want to be added to the list, just [...]

“Brown and Orange” by Dirt

Ah, the joys and perils of YouTube. I found this little nugget on here - a song solely about the Browns by a Cleveland-area band called “Dirt.”
I’ll let you be the judge of its quality.  I’ve yet to put my finger on this - is it ridiculous, or do you actually find yourself bobbing [...]

Great Super Bowl Moments in Browns History

Congratulations to the New York Giants and the New England Patriots on making it to Super Bowl XLII! It was a long, hard road getting there and something tells me the Giants are going to make it a close game. To honor the single-greatest game in sports, I figured I would recap and [...]

Crennel Contract Extension Talks to Begin

Not much is happening on the Browns front, other than the fact that Phil Savage is hanging out at the Senior Bowl next week. And at the Senior Bowl, Savage will meet with Romeo Crennel’s agent to discuss a possible contract extension.
- I was tooling around on a Browns blog and found a link [...]

Browns Links for Friday, January 18th

Kid Cleveland grades the Browns’ defense, and it’s not pretty for the defensive line.
The Cleveland Fan also takes a crack at evaluating the defense.
Here’s the real reason why the Browns and Todd Grantham parted ways.
No love for Derek Anderson (apparently, the list is based on this past year’s performances).
For all the D.A. enthusiasts - contract [...]

Possible First-Round Brown: Sedrick Ellis

Currently, the Browns have no first-round selections in the upcoming NFL Draft. Plenty of factors may change that in the next few months, so for the sake of these scouting reports and possible projections, we are going to assume that Phil Savage has made a trade to get into the first round. A [...]

2008 NFL Mock Draft

Now, I know that the Browns don’t have a first-round pick, but Phil Savage, as diligent as ever, is looking to get back into the first round.
In the upcoming days and weeks, I will look at possible trade opportunities, including players that would fit all warm and snuggly into the Browns’ plans.
What do you think? [...]

New Fan-Sided Blog - Niner Noise

As a new Fan-Sided blogger myself, I think it is only right that I plug one of our other brand-new additions - Niner Noise. As you may have guessed, it’s a blog revolving around anything and everything San Francisco 49ers. Incidentally, the Niners were my favorite team while the Browns were on hiatus, [...]

For Your Viewing Pleasure

I guess I’ve been on my Josh Cribbs high horse this week, what with my All-Pro post (which, naturally, I’m linking to) and now this. What a great run this was against the Steelers.  And like a commenter said on YouTube, “the best part is the look on Big Ben’s face.”

Defensive Coordinator Void Already Filled

There was no time wasted by the Browns in finding a new defensive coordinator. Mel Tucker, the defensive backs coach for the past three seasons, now finds himself in the position of controlling the entire defense. Lucky for him, Phil Savage is licking his lips at the thought of the impending free agency [...]
