Wow was that a terrible article. (Not yours but Sportsline’s.) So, let me get this straight. According to that article the Bengals have a chance to make the Super Bowl, but only with a "major makeover"…yet the Vikings don’t have a chance because the passing game isn’t there yet? What if the Vikings managed to get Derek Anderson and grabbed a WR in the draft that made an impact? That seems more plausible than the Bengals righting the ship…
February 14th, 2008 at 2:15 pmI agree – I thought this was a ridiculous "article," if you want to call it that. It was essentially just a mess of contradiction and vague projections, like the Bengals being able to make the Super Bowl. And what great insight to say the Browns simply need more defense. Why aren’t we getting paid to only say that?
Say the Vikings did land Derek Anderson and drafted a WR ready to make an impact. I’d have half a mind to start predicting a Super Bowl. The Bengals are a complete mess and, while we’re at it, the Ravens are as well. And I will revel in every second of their misery.
