If you haven’t figured it out by now, the reason for the Browns‘ offensive success was thanks in large part to the outstanding offensive line. Phil Savage knows where his bread his buttered and for maintaining the depth, he is certainly deserving of a new contract. On Monday, he signed former Miami Dolphins offensive lineman [...]

Of the top-ten free agent signings so far this offseason, Donte’ Stallworth has been ranked as the fourth-best by Sports Illustrated. Not a bad choice for a second receiver, I’d say.
Here’s the top-ten:
10. Gibril Wilson, S, Raiders
9. Antwan Odom, DT, Bengals
8. Javon Walker, WR, Raiders
7. Justin Smith, DE, 49ers
6. Alge Crumpler, TE, Titans
5. Bernard Berrian, [...]

Well, to be honest, not much. Some of the biggest news to stay keen on with the Browns hardly involves them at all. Not surprisingly, Shaun Smith is being called a liar by the Bengals, specifically former Bengals receivers coach Hue Jackson. But, as ProFootballTalk suggests, there could be a reason Jackson said what he [...]

It has become obvious in the past few weeks that I have an infatuation with players who have great names, specifically those with some particularly dirty or potentially offensive ones.
The new name I’ve come across is that of Lee Cummard, a shooting guard on the BYU Cougars’ basketball team.
I’m thinking of creating a great name [...]

Not surprisingly, the videos have been taken off YouTube, but Browns defensive tackle Shaun Smith made some interesting comments on Monday night at a Browns Backers meeting in Central Maryland. Smith was once a member of the Cincinnati Bengals, and played in the team’s only playoff game in the Marvin Lewis era. But [...]

Political analysts point to the mustache as a potential deciding factor in many critical swing states.
Being that this is an election year, Brady Quinn has turned to launching his own campaign in an effort to win the starting quarterback job in 2008. He was recently involved in a situation off the field, and it no [...]

According to ProFootballTalk, a league source has weighed in on some of the Browns’ recent offseason moves. That source, apparently, was
“Surprised that the Browns gave up so much to get Rogers, who some league insiders…regard as a turd. The source also thinks that the Browns gave up too much by way of money and [...]

The chances were slim to sign Travis LaBoy once he left Cleveland without a contract, and now those chances are zero. The Arizona Cardinals have signed the defensive end to a five-year, $22 million deal, with $7.5 million guaranteed. Oh well, I guess.
