Cribbs To Be More Involved

Posted by: chrisslocombe

Joshua Cribbs jumpingWith his change of pace, and versatility it should come as no surprise that Joshua Cribbs will see more time in the Brown offense this year. Cribbs, who played quarterback at nearby Kent State, has become an excellent return specialist and has been labeled as “wide receiver” in his time with the Browns. However, truth be told, he brings a certain dynamic once on the field that you can’t really label him; last season he finished with three receptions for 37 yards, nine rushes for 61 yards, and those great return stats. So what kind of new plays can we expect? Well, it would be foolish to say this early, but seeing that Cribbs was a former quarterback, a fake pass or two may be in the works.
