On Tuesday, in attempting to break up a pass intended for Braylon Edwards, cornerback Daven Holly managed to land awkwardly and, for all intents and purposes, tear the hell out of his knee. He sustained ligament and cartilage damage and is set to undergo surgery as early as Friday.
With Holly out of action, possibly for [...]

In being rewarded the 2012 Super Bowl, the city of Indianapolis becomes the fourth cold-weather city to host the Big Game. What do Indianapolis and the three other cold-weather Super Bowl cities (1982 and 2006 in Detroit and 1992 in Minneapolis) have in common? They all play indoors, which means Browns fans will not see [...]

Derek Anderson was awarded the 2007 Browns MVP, yesterday at a banquet hosted by Akron Browns Backers. The award was voted on by the Cleveland chapter of Pro Football Writer’s Association.
What remains to be seen however is if Anderson can hold off second year wonder boy, Brady Quinn. Romeo Crennel has been adamant that [...]

Davis enters the year as another potential cornerback and will most likely see plenty of time [...]

Starting right guard Ryan Tucker felt discomfort on Wednesday and found that he had a fractured hip that will keep him off the field until the start of the regular season; he underwent surgery on Friday. It is unfortunate to hear, considering all the trouble Tucker has had staying on the field - ranging from [...]

In a one-on-one interview after a spring practice, quarterback Brady Quinn explained that he was more than capable of carrying the team deep into the playoffs should something happen to current No. 1 Derek Anderson. I’m not saying Quinn is going to order a hit on Anderson or anything, but no matter what, it [...]

With his change of pace, and versatility it should come as no surprise that Joshua Cribbs will see more time in the Brown offense this year. Cribbs, who played quarterback at nearby Kent State, has become an excellent return specialist and has been labeled as “wide receiver” in his time with the Browns. [...]
