All Hell Is Breaking Loose

Another day, another wrinkle to the season that is…….

  • First, last week, at a Browns Backers meeting GM Phil Savage said that there is a realistic possibility that both Derek Anderson and Brady Quinn will be on the team’s roster for the ’09 season.  WTF Phil? Come on, besides the Giants game Anderson has played like complete shit! Brady needs to get some starts down the stretch here to showcase what he can do with this team.  At this point I could care less about rising Anderson’s “stock” for the sake of getting a good pick for him in a trade; it’s not going to happen, so let’s move on already.
  • Today, the team announced that TE Kellen Winslow would be suspended for this week’s upcoming game against  Jacksonville.  What is this front office trying to prove? The only message that they are sending, is that they will not have anyone speak poorly about this regime and thus begins the “let’s phase out K2” project.  In actuality Kellen is the only player on offense showing any kind of heart and does not deserve this suspension!
  • 14/37, 136 yards, 1 TD…countless passes thrown short or high…enough said.
  • Derek Anderson and FB Lawerence Vickers were visably upset with one another during Sunday’s game when the team had to burn a timeout because of miscommunication.  Does this surprise anyone?  Half the game Romeo Crennel looks lost too!!  This just proves to me more and more that Anderson has lost control of the huddle and the confidence of his team.
