Well news around Browns-town has been coming at a snail’s pace the past few days now, and with that comes some juicy internet rumors!
- During an interview with local radio station 850 WKNR, Special team stud/WR Joshua Cribbs told reporters that, new head coach Eric Mangini posed the question of Cribbs moving to a safety spot. Now before everyone says this is a crazy move let’s remember it’s still just a rumor, but how sweet would it be to see Cribbs out there crushing some guy going over the middle. Personally I think this would be a good move especially if the team loses FA Mike Adams and Sean Jones.
- Apparently there are folks out there who believe that the Browns will seek a 2nd round pick for QB Derek Anderson, that guy is Adam Schefter from NFL.com. Don’t believe me, check for yourself.
I dont think that Cribbs should be move to a saftey spot. You cant expect him to play on both kick return teams, punt return, WR, and Saftey. I agree that he would be a beast at saftey but then you are goin to have to remove him from other positions that he has already proved to be able to play well.
