A Swing and a Miss

The Browns may not have been a day late, but they must have been a dollar short, because they missed out on two FA cornerbacks in the past days.  CB’s Jabari Greer and Chris Carr were both in town in recent days, however both left town without a deal.  Greer even headed out to New Orleans where he inked a deal.

Now by no means would either of these signings prompt me to jump for joy and start a “SUPER BOWL!!” chant.  That being said though it is clearly obvious that the team lacks…a lot, and these signings could have provided some depth at the least.

The team is reportedly bringing in FA’s linebacker Heath Greer (Vikings), as well as former Jets linebacker David Bowens and defensive lineman C.J. Mosley, in the coming days

I couldn’t give a rat’s ass about greer but we missed the boat on carr because he would have helped free up cribbs for more involvement offensively
