As a Browns fan this event puts me in a catch-22. As I have followed Stallworth since his college days at the University of Tennessee and have always been a fan of both his on field leadership as well as his demeanor off the field. That Stallworth has manned up and faced this situation with the upmost remorse shows more character than many other former NFL players have shown in similar situations. How Stallworth will be received by fans when he returns to the NFL will be interesting. Ray Lewis (who was never convicted) went from a monster to a savior in less than a season. Our prayers go out to the victims family as well as Donte Stallworth.
