gobucks1 - you are going to make me cry.

Would I want Peppers? HELL YA. At age 30, this guy has a lot left in the tank. His numbers in 2009 prove that without a doubt - 36 solo tackles, 10.5 sacks, 5 forced fumbles, 1 block, 2 ITs and a TD! He wants to play in a 3-4 defense; he has said that many times. The Chiefs, Patriots and Jags are all very interested.

He would provide the help on the outside that Rogers desperately needs up the middle.

Julius will command top dollar. It would take a blockbuster move by Holmgren to get him, but you never know with the Walrus.

Common sense tells you that if either of these QB's are back....it will be Quinn. DA will be gone for money issues(not to mention lack of ability)if nothing else. It is great news to hear though. Now we won't have to sit around playing the guessing game about who it will be(the only down side is that it gives us a little less to talk about).

I wouldn't mind seeing us make a move to get a vet. if it is McNabb or somebody else that brings credit to the position. Then we could draft a rookie in the 2nd/3rd round range that could learn and grow under him. Somebody like Sean Canfield, out of Oregon State(Yes I know that is the same school that DA came from). I only seen him play 1 time this year, but he was pretty impressive, and has all the tools. He is accurate, big sized, big arm, and seemed to make good decisions. I think he would be a better pick than Tebow(who will likely fall to the 3rd round), Tony Pike, or Colt McCoy. He impressed Todd McShay(ESPN)enough to move him up his draft board.

Side note: Peppers is rumored to be leaving the Carolina Panthers this offseason!?!?! What do you think about making a deal to get him? I'm sure we could ship Quinn down there as part of the deal(If we are going to unload both).....just as long as we don't end up with Jake Delhomme as our QB!!!!!! I guess if we do draft a QB, and decide that we were going to start him from day one, then he would be an o.k. backup.
