Cribbs Would like Terrell Owens in Cleveland

During a recent live chat on NFL.com, Browns KR/PR/WR/wildcat QB Josh Cribbs was asked where he thinks WR Terrell Owens will end up next season. Cribbs’ response, “Hopefully in Cleveland.”

Not sure what to make of this, but  I do know  team president, Mike Holmgren, believes the Browns wide receivers will do just fine.

Count me in as one who thinks that adding a vertern WR to help coach the youngsters is a great idea. I just don’t think that T.O. is the guy for the job.

Sorry Josh, sometimes talent doesn’t exceed all. Terrell has never shown the selflessness to be a leader and shouldn’t be considered to a viable option to do so with our youngsters. Our team is way too young and the last thing they need is T.O. trying to teach them anything.
I’d like to believe that because he was quiet last year, he’d somehow mellowed. There’s still not enough proof for me.
Remember his tiff with McNabb was under Heckert’s watch and may have left a bad taste in his mouth. Then again Heckert did sign him, baggage and all.
The old saying goes “fool me once, shame on you. fool me twice, shame on me.”

100% agree with you on this one, I doubt Terrell Owens is capable of being a leader to young receivers.
