Cleveland Browns Fire Eric Mangini After Another 5-11 Season

Well, it’s finally official. After increased speculation, team president Mike Holmgren has relieved Eric Mangini of his duties as head coach of the Cleveland Browns.

Mangini went 10-22 (.312) in his two seasons in Cleveland and it is obviously rumored that Holmgren might return to the sidelines. Browns fans can only hope that Holmgren or someone like Jon Gruden decide to coach the team, because the rest of the head coaching candidates out there are less than desirable (Marty Mornhinweg, anyone?).

Be sure to keep checking back with us, as we will continue to cover Mangini’s firing and the Browns’ search for a new head coach (if there even is one).
