Vote for Joe Haden and Peyton Hillis to Win Post-Season Awards

Alright, so a 5-11 season isn’t all that exciting. The Browns went through another head coach and are once again starting from scratch.

But wait!

Are they truly starting from scratch? There are actually some solid pieces for this team to build on – two of which are running back Peyton Hillis and cornerback Joe Haden.

Both players are up for awards this off-season. Hillis has been nominated for the VIZIO Top Value Performer Award, which recognizes players who significantly exceed expectations and the value of their salary. With that requirement, I’d say Hillis is a pretty good candidate to win. Denver’s Brandon Lloyd, Buffalo’s Steve Johnson, Pittsburgh’s LaMarr Woodley, and the New York Giants’ Ahmad Bradshaw are the other nominees.

Haden has been nomiated for the 2010 Pepsi NFL Rookie of the Year award, along with Sam Bradford of the Rams, Devin McCourty of the Patriots, Ndamukong Suh of the Lions, and Mike Williams of the Buccaneers.

Now, if you’d like to see Hillis and Haden win these awards (and you certainly should), be sure to check out the following links and vote today:
