As you may or may not know, Browns running back Peyton Hillis is currently locked in a battle with Packers quarterback (and the reigning Super Bowl MVP) Aaron Rodgers to see who will reach the finals in the bracket-style voting process to determine the next player to grace the cover of Madden.
The semifinal voting round ends Monday, April 18 and the new round – the finals – begin at noon EDT on the same day.
Browns fans have been showing up in droves to support Hillis, not just to help out a member of the team, but almost as a way to play a prank on the entire NFL. How baffling would it be to see Hillis on the cover of the game, regardless of how well he played this year? Maybe it’s the Cleveland complex in all of us, but it sometimes seems more likely that we’d see Muammar Gaddafi on the cover of a Madden game before a Browns player.
Either way, be sure to vote for Hillis!
