Nike Plans to Be Aggressive With NFL Uniforms – Will Browns Comply?

AUTHOR: | IN: Browns, Other/Off-Topic | COMMENTS: 1 Comment

In an interview with CNBC’s Darren Rovell, Nike Brand President Charlie Denson talked about Nike’s plans for NFL teams’ uniforms next season. Denson said that the company was ”going to be aggressive…some teams are willing to go further than others.” I don’t know about you, but I’m crossing my fingers that the Browns are one of the teams unwilling to make drastic changes that would put them on the path to adopting uniforms that belong on teams from a outlandishly fake league in a crappy football movie. It might work for Oregon, but the over/under on fans gouging out their eyes at [...]

Video of the Day: Football Cops Trailer

AUTHOR: | IN: Other/Off-Topic | COMMENTS: None Yet

Obviously, they aren’t members of the Cleveland Browns, but the Manning brothers know how to entertain us off the field better than anyone else in the league. While Peyton Manning has been the master spokesman in recent years, his brother Eli is not too far behind. This new idea – called “Football Cops” – is for DIRECTV and it’s pretty hilarious. In this trailer, the Manning brothers play a couple of hard-nosed cops who administer justice with the help of footballs and their God-given throwing abilities. Check out the trailer below:

Scoring the NFL CBA Negotiations Fight

AUTHOR: | IN: NFL | COMMENTS: 1 Comment

The word around the water cooler is that the players and owners are making progress towards a new agreement that would end the NFL lockout, and bring us football on schedule. AUTHOR: | IN: Browns, Previews | COMMENTS: None Yet

They say to lower your expectations whenever you want to be pleasantly surprised. When it comes to the Cleveland Browns’ group of wide receivers, the expectations couldn’t be much lower. Therefore, it shouldn’t be all that difficult for rookie wide receiver Greg Little to make a good impression in 2011. Let’s first take a look at the 2010 stats of the team’s receivers:

Video of the Day: Cleveland Browns WR Greg Little Highlights

AUTHOR: | IN: Browns, Previews | COMMENTS: None Yet

The chance for Cleveland Browns rookie wide receiver Greg Little to make a big impact  in his first year is there. What he does with that opportunity is up to him, but it is no secret that the Browns are hurting for a true #1 receiver (after all, the team’s leading receiver last season was tight end Ben Watson with only 763 yards). We’ll be talking a lot about Greg Little in the coming months, so here is a highlight video of him at North Carolina to get us started.
