Cleveland Browns Sign Undrafted Free Agents on Tuesday

The Cleveland Browns may not be a force to be reckoned with when it comes to signing veterans through free agency this year, but the team was busy on Tuesday, signing a number of undrafted free agents. The Browns did not confirm the names of these free agents, but these players were expected in Berea on Wednesday to sign with the team.

Here is an unofficial list of the undrafted rookies the Browns signed on Tuesday, including their 2010 stats:

Donald Buckram, RB, UTEP – 81 rushes for 335 yards, 1 TD

Kyle Anderson, DL, Georgetown College – 32 tackles (2.5 for loss), 2 sacks, 1 INT

Carl Gettis, CB, Missouri – 48 tackles, 1 FF, 2 INT

Brian Smith, LB, Notre Dame – 49 tackles, 1 sack, 1 FF, 1 INT

Sidney Tarver, LB, Tennessee State – 6 tackles

James Dockery, CB, Oregon State – 56 tackles, 4 INT

Alex Wujciak, LB, Maryland – 99 tackles, 1 FF, 2 INT (1 TD)

Jabari Fletcher, DL, Appalachian State – 3 tackles, 1 INT

Dominic Alford, OL, Minnesota – coming off ankle injury, but saw action in nine games, including two starts

Andre Caroll, DL, Delaware State – 1 INT

Jarrod Shaw, G, Tennessee – started all 13 games in 2010 (eight at right guard, five at left guard)

Troy Weatherhead, QB, Hillsdale – 279 attempts/363 completions, 3,215 yards, 26 TDs, set NCAA record with 76.9 completion percentage

Chris Matthews, WR, Kentucky – 61 receptions for 925 yards, 9 TDs

L.J. Castille, WR, Delta State – 67 receptions for 900 yards, 13 touchdowns

Juan Nunez, WR, Western Michigan – 91 receptions for 1,032 yards, 10 TDs

Jeff Wolfert, K, Missouri – played with Omaha Nighthawks of UFL in 2010, was league’s most accurate kicker, converting 9 of 10 field goals and was 10-for-10 on extra points

Evan Frosch, TE, TCU – 2 receptions for 42 yards
