Cleveland Browns Currently at 80/1 Odds to Win Super Bowl XLVI

In case you needed some clarification about the Browns’ Super Bowl chances in 2011, here it is: Cleveland is currently sitting at 80/1 odds to win Super Bowl XLVI in 2012. Needless to say, the Browns are longshots to win it all this season.

That may seem like a grim outlook, but enjoy this, Browns fans: the oddsmakers think highly enough of the Browns to put two teams (the Denver Broncos and Seattle Seahawks) with the same 80/1 odds and four teams with even longer odds to win the next Super Bowl. Best of all, the Browns’ in-state rival, the Cincinnati Bengals, are one of those teams, coming in at 100/1 odds to win Super Bowl XLVI.

Other teams with longer odds to win it all include the Washington Redskins, Buffalo Bills, and Carolina Panthers.

We are tied with the Seahawks? They are so much more talented a ball club even with a new starting QB. Also, the Bengals are below us, i have to give it to them they have had an excellent draft the past two years and I can only hope i’m saying the same about us at the start of next season. Ive never been such a skeptic about my Browns but this offseason has been so sad. I’m tired of mediocrity and to tell the truth, we arent even there yet.

aw, loosen up monte!? let’s give the new guys a chance. after all this is NOT mangini’s team anymore… it will definitely be a different team, and i can’t see that as being a bad thing yet… and remember, no one is saying this team is headed to the superbowl any time soon. let’s just see how things pan out. for one, i’m pretty optimistic. but that’s just me… lol… but i truly think they will do ok. not great, too soon for that, but ok.

I’ll try and loosen up. But all these teams picking up solid free agents at specific positions and we just went under the radar with a few hopefuls. Maybe ownership wants to sit on the cap money. As a fan I can’t accept them sitting in their hands while I’m standing on my feet.
