Browns WR Mohamed Massaquoi Has Bone Injury, Out Indefinitely

It’s no surprise that Cleveland Browns wide receiver Mohamed Massaquoi has been absent during the team’s training camp, as he has been on the sidelines in a boot since practices began. The only mystery was what it exactly was that was keeping him off the field.

However, head coach Pat Shurmur confirmed today that Massaquoi is out with a bone injury in his left leg and the worst part is that it will keep the wide receiver out indefinitely.

Obviously, this doesn’t come at a particularly opportune time for Massaquoi, as a number of players are jockeying for position in the Browns’ receiving corps. While Massaquoi was technically the team’s No. 1 receiver last season, there is no guarantee that his spot in the starting line-up – let alone on the entire roster – is secure.
