Yesterday, I was back on Sports Buzz (part of The Pulse Network) to talk about the Cleveland Browns with host Tyler Pyburn. This time around, we discussed the recent cuts on the Browns roster, the maturation of quarterback Colt McCoy, how the team is dealing with so many injuries, and a few key position battles among players fighting to make the final 53-man roster.

    This blog is an excellent opportunity to address the injuries that have plagued the Browns this preseason, however I am 50/50 on the chances of recovery in time for making a run at the playoffs. the Cleveland Browns Defense was great last year. The offense needs to find a way to consistently convert in the red zone. When I say convert I mean touchdowns and not field goals. Peyton Hillis is an excellent bruising running back and with a producing tight end this should open up the field for receivers to run free. The quarterbacks responsibility is to make the proper reads and find them. Work on offense and the Defense will take care of itself. Special teams are another story I will address that in another blog. “Never too Late Get it Done:
