As an alum of Ohio University, this is an obligatory news story upon which to report. For their season opener on September 9 against the Philadelphia Eagles, the Cleveland Browns are inviting Ohio University’s well-known marching band to perform during halftime. This will happen as part of “Ohio University Day” at Cleveland Browns Stadium.

The Browns are paying for the entire band’s trip up to Cleveland, including both transportation and food. Plus, the band will be playing in Cincinnati the week after for the Bengals’ home opener. In other words, September is going to be a great month for the Marching 110 and those associated with Ohio University (i.e. this guy).
