Around the Dawg Pound: Tuesday Night Cleveland Browns Links

For Cleveland Browns fans, this is about to be a long two-and-a-half weeks. As we look forward to the September 9 season opener, there are still two more preseason games to get through, and with the team’s “dress rehearsal” game out of the way, even the littlest shred of excitement in the preseason is over. But that doesn’t mean we won’t get some intriguing position battles in the meantime.

With that in mind, here are some late-night links to peruse as we slog towards the Browns’ third preseason game on Friday:

  • Is the left tackle position ‘evolving’ in the NFL? (National Football Post)
  • Josh Gordon catches attention with “brilliant” practices (Pro Football Talk)
  • Evan Moore’s grip on his Cleveland Browns roster spot anything but certain (Cleveland.com)
  • Cleveland Browns, 2012 N.F.L. Season Preview (The New York Times)
  • Despite uncertain future with Browns, quarterback Colt McCoy says, ‘I’m happy to be here’ (Ohio.com)
