Browns Employee Commits Suicide at Team Facility

In the wake of the news surrounding the Kansas City Chiefs’ Jovan Belcher, the Cleveland Browns received some startling news of their own on Saturday.

A member of the groundskeeping crew, Eric Eucker, committed suicide at the team facility in Berea on Saturday morning. His body was found hanging in a storage shed, which was confirmed by the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner to WEWS Newschannel 5.

The Browns released this statement:

“This is a terrible tragedy and our heartfelt condolences go out to Eric’s family. Eric was a good friend and colleague, and an outstanding employee. He will be missed by everyone in the Cleveland Browns organization.”
