Cleveland Browns wide receiver Josh Gordon has had his fair share of past troubles, which is how the team was able to draft him in the 2012 supplemental draft in the first place. But during his first season in Cleveland, Gordon was a model teammate and citizen, establishing himself as one of the up-and-coming receiving talents in the NFL.
Of course, that was all before a recent tweet.
It has since been deleted, but it read, “The randoms that really try to race me on the freeway?? Really guy? #undefeated.”
Maybe it’s nothing, but after the experiences of Kellen Winslow, Jr., Marcus Benard and even Donte Stallworth, fans are understandably cautious when it comes to Browns players getting into moving vehicles. With Gordon’s checkered past, the alarms were even louder.
Is this being blown out of proportion or do you still worry about what Gordon does in his free time?
