The Browns suffered injuries to Jabaal Sheard, Billy Winn and Billy Cundiff yesterday against the Minnesota Vikings.  Today, in his press conference, head coach Rob Chudzinski gave the diagnosis for the injuries.  He  gave little information as to their potential availability this week but may have tipped their hand with Brandon Weeden.

According to Chud, Sheard suffered a sprained knee while both Winn and Cundiff suffered strained quads.  He said the team would give updates on Wednesday as to updates on their status for the game against the Cincinnati Bengals.  As for Weeden, Chud said that the quarterback has not thrown the ball yet as he recovers from his sprained thumb.

To this point, Chud has not said who will be the quarterback this week, but given that fact with Weeden and how Brian Hoyer played yesterday, it seems like a good bet that Hoyer will play this week.

Chud also said the Browns are not planning on trading Josh Gordon and Greg Little and those rumors just rumors.  Now, if the Browns go and trade either of them, Chud can say it was not a plan but an offer that came up and they had to take it.  From Chud’s perspective, he would really like to be able to hold onto Gordon just a little longer.  They threw at him 19 times and handed it to him once.
