Browns vs. Lions: Live Game Thread, Inactives for Week 6

The Cleveland Browns attempt to go for their fourth victory in a row as they host the Detroit Lions with Calvin Johnson active and playing today; how much is the question.  The Browns defense is looking to come back in a big way after the rushing performance they gave up against Buffalo.  Meanwhile, Brandon Weeden gets his chance to prove he is able to keep this offense being productive enough to win.

Jabaal Sheard is unable to go this week, so Barkevious Mingo gets his third start, but the Browns will have Quentin Groves back this week coming off a high ankle sprain.  With Johnson playing, it means that Joe Haden will have to be up to the task in coverage.

Everything will ultimately come down to what the Browns could accomplish in the past week and a half.  Weeden needs to prove he can run the offense and be quick and decisive with the football effectively and the running game needs to be more effective.

If the Browns can win, this will be the first time they have won four games in a row since the last four games of Eric Mangini’s first season.
