Pete, you asked me before about when has this front office lied. Have you seen the , so far rumor, that Chud could be gone? That smacks the line about the stability they preached to the fans when they took over. If they can’t get who they want, I hear Gruden or Josh McDaniels, then maybe not. But they are thinking about it. If they make the change, it another lie. Also if their D was so much better, how come four offensive players are in Pro Bowl and only one on defense!!

    • Pete Smith

I have and it is distressing as I like Chud. No one has mentioned Gruden that I have seen, nor should they. McDaniels makes sense with Lombardi, but is a terrifying prospect. O’Brien makes sense, but again, I think it is silly to fire a coach after one season and I like the job Chud did. I think the guy can coach.

One of the reasons that I have heard they are replacing him is he didn’t hold the players accountable enough for their poor play! That
I must agree with!! Same mistakes over and over again. Things needed fixing and they didn’t get done. Red zone defense and offense. Too many field goals and not enough TDs !! Not enough stops in the red zone. Faulty third down D. Plus a lot of offensive plays on third down that went for 3 or 4 yards when it was third and seven!! But these things are fixable, but he walked into a situation where a young first time coach had young players who didn’t know how to close games out or hold a lead!!
