The Cleveland Browns are scheduled to interview Seattle Seahawks defensive coordinator Dan Quinn on Wednesday as reported by ESPN’s Adam Schefter.  Quinn, 43, was with Seahawks when Jim Mora was the head coach there, functioning as the defensive line coach and assistant head coach in 2009.  He was there in 2010 when Pete Carroll took over as head coach and retained, but he left to become the defensive coordinator of the Florida Gators for two seasons.

After Gus Bradley left to become the head coach of the Jacksonville Jaguars and Quinn has come back to the Seahawks and taken over the defensive coordinator role there.  Quinn started his his career as a defensive quality control coach with the San Francisco 49ers before serving as defensive line coach with the Miami Dolphins and New York Jets.

Quinn is one of two candidates who coach on the defensive side of the ball the Browns have reached out to interview.  The other is Todd Bowles, the defensive coordinator of the Arizona Cardinals.
