Brunch with Brownie

Good late morning and early afternoon Browns fans!!!!

Well one side of the NFC and AFC Championship games are set after yesterday’s division playoffs.

The earlier of the two games saw the New Orleans Saints almost muster a comeback against the favored Seattle Seahawks, but at

New Orleans burned two timeouts early in the fourth quarter, which proved costly as they just ran out of time driving down the field to try to tie the score with a touchdown and two-point conversion.  Seattle will play either Carolina or San Francisco in the NFC Championship game.

In the late game, New England rushed for six touchdowns, as they routed the Indianapolis Colts 43-22 at Gillette Stadium.  LeGarrette Blount rushed for four touchdowns in a game that saw the New England running back’s combine for 234 rushing yards and six touchdowns.

Colts quarterback Andrew Luck threw a career high four interceptions in the contest.  There was no extra magic to be had, and the Colts playoff run is now over.

The New England Patriots will play the winner of today’s game which matches up the Denver Broncos against the San Diego Chargers.  The Chargers defeated the Broncos at Mile High late in the season.

And still…no new Browns coach as of today!!!!!
