Breakfast with Brownie

Good Morning Browns Fans!!!

Another day has passed and with it, the coaching search continues…

The Browns had a busy day again yesterday interviewing fired Titans head coach Mike Munchak in Tennessee.

Funny part of this story, was while the Browns were interviewing Munchak, the Titans were replacing him with one of the Browns candidates, Ken Whisenhunt.

And so the search continues with the Browns interviewing everyone that has a pulse in the coaching world, seemingly waiting for the Broncos to be eliminated in order to interview everyone’s perceived frontrunner, offensive coordinator Adam Gase.

Let’s not forget, Gase to Cleveland isn’t a cut and dry deal by a longshot.  Even if the Browns fall in love with him, if they haven’t done so already, he may opt to guide Peyton Manning another season and have his choice of where he wants to go next year instead of just have the Browns as an option.

We shall see how it plays out, however, the Browns will have to wait at least another week in the hopes the Broncos are eliminated Sunday and they can finally interview Gase.

The search continues….

With the obvious ties that exist between Haslam and Peyton Manning I can only hope that it is the reason they are holding out to interview Gase!? But as far as head coaching material I have to wonder?! There may be a guy on the team older than Gase, but I doubt it with Banner around!!!
