Mike Klis of the Denver Post is reporting that Denver Broncos offensive coordinator Adam Gase does plan to interview with the Cleveland Browns when their playoff run has ended.  The Browns have been interested in Gase almost from the word go as one of the head coaching prospects they really wanted to interview.

Gase had initially rejected the opportunity to interview with the Browns and Minnesota Vikings to focus on the Broncos playoff run, prompting many to assume he was not interested and this was more evidence the Browns were bad.  As it turns out, Gase was serious about finishing the playoff run before getting into coaching interviews.

The Browns have made it clear they are not rushing to find their coach and have interviewed a number of candidates.  The rest of the teams are filling up their vacancies, which puts the Browns in a unique position of having their ability to take their time and pick one of their targets without feeling pressure to rush it.  That sounds good, but the Browns have to nail this hire regardless of the process involved.
