Good Morning Browns Town!!!

And so the coaching wheel keeps on churning around the league, as the Detroit Lions hire former Colts coach Jim Caldwell to

run their team.

As far as the Browns are concerned, potential head coach target Todd Bowles removed his name from the coaching consideration hat yesterday as well.

The biggest news of the day pertaining to the Cleveland Browns was thought to be front-runner Ben McAdoo, taking the offensive coordinator job for the New York Giants.  McAdoo, was at the top of the candidate list for the vacant Browns job.

After yesterday’s developments, it is clear to me and I’m assuming everyone else, that this Browns job is waiting for Broncos offensive coordinator Adam Gase.  The question however, is whether Gase feels the same way.

The front office has shown its cards I believe, and they have had Gase targeted since day one.  The rest of these interviews were to keep the fan base interested and to see if anyone else wowed them so to speak.  It’s quite clear that is not the case, and with Bowles being the second guy to remove his name from consideration, makes it clear that these coaches like Bowles understand the deal as well.

It’s gonna be a rough week in Cleveland for the Browns brass if Gase finally interviews after the Broncos are eliminated and he turns down the job…

>As the coaching search wears on, people around twitter are having a little fun with it.  What I don’t find funny about this, is the poor Chimp wouldn’t have any idea the hopeless situation he would be getting himself into!!!! PITA would definitely be up in arms over this cruelty to the cute little guy!!!

>Still remember how bad this loss hurt!!!?? What we wouldn’t give to be good enough to be capable of getting back to this game.  Heck, I’d even be ok with losing it again, just to see our team relevant again!!!!
