Cleveland Browns:

Johnny Manziel to start against the Bengals

"Cleveland Browns head coach Mike Pettine made official this morning what every knew was a forgone conclusion by confirming that Johnny Manziel will start Thursday night against the Cincinnati Bengals."

Will the Browns win again this season?

"Remember when you looked at the NFL standings last November and the Cleveland Browns were 7-4? Five straight losses followed, but at least there was that hope of a playoff berth. Things are a bit different this year as the Browns are currently 2-6 with a matchup against the undefeated Cincinnati Bengals on Thursday. The chances of winning have to be close to Dwayne Bowe’s receiving yard total this season."

Browns vs. Cardinals: Film room session

"It was a tale of two very different halves for the Cleveland Browns. The Browns led 20-10 at halftime and were out to a surprising lead against a tough opponent in the Arizona Cardinals. At the half, quarterback Josh McCown had three touchdown passes. In the second half the offense failed to score and Arizona was able to come back and defeat the Browns by a score of 34-20. It was another punch in the gut for the Browns who now sit at 2-6 on the season.  Lets breakdown some of the action, good and bad for the Browns in Sunday’s loss."

Browns vs Bengals: 3 match-ups to watch

"Johnny Manziel will be tested by a strong Cincinnati Bengals defensive unit that shut Manziel out 30-0 in his NFL debut. Manziel will have an opportunity to prove to the Browns why he was the 22nd overall pick in the 2014 draft and bring restored hope to this losing season. These matchups will be key for the Browns to pull off an upset on the road against the undefeated Cincinnati Bengals."

NFL News:

Ranking all 32 offensive lines this season (PFF)

"We’re almost at the halfway point of the year for all NFL teams, making now a perfect time to revisit our PFF offensive line rankings. Last time around (entering Week 5), Atlanta held the No. 1 spot; as the losses have crept in, however, the Falcons have slipped slightly up the list. Who has earned the O-line crown entering Week 9? Counting down from worst to best, let’s find out. (Editor’s note: If you are blaming the offensive line for the Browns’ problems you are going to be disappointed.)"

What happened to the 49ers? (Niner Noise)

"This Sunday, the San Francisco 49ers will welcome the Atlanta Falcons in what figures to be another uninspiring effort by the home team. A lot can change in the NFL in just a few years and the 49ers are “Exhibit A.”"

Cowboys should start Kellen Moore at quarterback (The Landry Hat)

"Matt Cassel is not the answer. Look, I’ll admit I was wrong about putting the ball into Cassel’s hands. But for the record, I still think the Dallas Cowboys made the right decision with a quarterback change from Brandon Weeden. Dallas just elected the wrong guy."
