Cleveland Browns:

Joe Haden confident he will be ready for Week 1

"The Cleveland Browns do not play a meaningful game for another four months, but they received some positive news on Wednesday about that opening weekend matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles. Starting cornerback Joe Haden expects to be ready to go and on the field after surgery on his left ankle on March 16."

Time to leave RG3’s past in Washington

"Robert Griffin III’s personal conflicts in Washington should not concern Browns fans, as that situation was toxic from the start."

The puzzling plummet of RGIII (The Undefeated)

"The Cleveland Browns are just going through the motions — it’s still April — but the team’s newest quarterback is attacking his drills like a drowning man determined to stay afloat. As he drops back, Robert Griffin III has never displayed better footwork. Over and over again, he sets the correct depth on his drive step. He’s equally precise on his crossover and balance steps. Maybe the Browns have found the quarterback they’ve needed for so long. Once again, Griffin is in a place where he’s wanted."

NFL News:

Broncos can’t beat the odds, won’t repeat (Denver Post)

"Oh, this will tick off everybody in Broncos Country. The proud men on the NFL’s No. 1 defense are certain to cry disrespect. But try not to get your orange knickers in a knot as I dispense the cold, hard truth. The Broncos are not going to repeat as Super Bowl champions."

NFL believes Ravens intentionally violated practice rules (CBS Sports)

"As ESPN reported, the Baltimore Ravens broke out the pads because they didn’t realize the CBA rules, which don’t allow full pads to be used before training camp, extended to rookie minicamp. They reportedly stopped using them when players’ union rep Ben Watson clarified the rules. But, according to a new report by ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Ravens actually knew about the rule. They allegedly broke the rule intentionally and, as a result, might face a steeper punishment from the league."

Ezekiel Elliott signs rookie deal with Dallas Cowboys (NFL.com)

"The Dallas Cowboys announced Wednesday that No. 4 overall pick Ezekiel Elliott has signed his four-year rookie deal with an option for the fifth season. The first four years are fully guaranteed at $25.9 million, per NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport, via a source involved."

What’s the feeling toward Sam Bradford now? (Inside the Iggles)

"Sam Bradford hasn’t made very many friends over the last few weeks. He’s been destroyed on live television by just about every analyst that is allowed to have an opinion, and he’s been discussed on social media, normally in a less than flattering fashion, by just about everybody who has an account. Eagles fan has turned on him. That’s not to say he had a great deal of support anyway, but the support that he had is all but gone."
