The Cleveland Browns may look at some experienced NFL starters to fill the quarterback position for the upcoming season and beyond.

The NFL offseason allows fans to come up with theories and opinions that may seem crazy during the course of the regular season.

Cleveland Browns fans have plenty of these theories, with the main focus being on the quarterback position. The team currently has Cody Kessler and Robert Griffin III on the roster as two potential starting options, but the collective imagination of fans has come up with countless other options.

From the players on the rosters to prospects in the NFL Draft, there are several players who could be starting at quarterback for the Browns in 2017.

That also includes players who have starting experience, as the Browns could look to swing a major trade to bring a player to Cleveland, or offer big money to a free agent.

Players like Jay Cutler, Tony Romo, and Kirk Cousins are all names the front office could be considering, even if it seems crazy right now.

Cousins may be the most expensive option, while Cutler and Romo are both dealing with injury problems. But that doesn’t rule out any of the three completely, especially after the Browns surprised fans and signed Griffin last year.

While all of these options are intriguing, the team may just stick with Griffin or Kessler and accept that 2017 will not be a playoff season. It is not ideal for fans, but the front office may deem it best for the future of the team.

But for now, it’s fun to think of all the possibilities, including those that seem outrageous. Let’s take a look at that and more in today’s edition of the Daily Dawg Tags.
