NFL free agency is set to begin on Thursday and the Cleveland Browns have plenty of holes to fill on the roster along with the money to do just that.

The Cleveland Browns will enter Thursday with over $100 million to spend, but don’t expect them to go too crazy in free agency.

The Browns have committed to building through the NFL Draft, although that doesn’t mean they must completely disregard free agency.

Outside of the players they want to bring to Cleveland from other teams, the Browns must act fast and bring Terrelle Pryor back on a long-term deal. He is set to hit the open market and will be pursued by other teams, making it harder every day for the Browns to convince him to return to this rebuilding team.

If he leaves, some fans will want to call him out for not being loyal to the Browns, but it is hard to blame him if the team wasn’t willing to commit to him. He is not going to take a lesser deal to stay in Cleveland if another team gives him a lucrative offer.

Outside of trying to re-sign Pryor, the Browns may look to grab a quarterback in free agency. The top option is Tyrod Taylor, given he is cut by the Buffalo Bills. If he is not, they may wait until the draft, or work hard to make a deal for Jimmy Garoppolo.

The madness will begin tomorrow, so let’s take a look at that and more in today’s edition of the Daily Dawg Tags.
