The Cleveland Browns continue to rebuild their defensive line, selecting UNC-Charlottes Larry Ogunjobi  with the No. 65 overall pick. Here’s how Browns fans reacted.

After two picks to bolster the offense, the Browns have gone back to building their defense with the first pick of the third round. Defensive tackle Larry Ogunjobi out of UNC-Charlotte is the newest member of the Cleveland Browns. At 6-foot-3 and 305 pounds, Ogunjobi is a powerful run-stopper with a lot of upside.

A small school prospect, there is still a lot to be learned about Ogunjobi. Here is the reaction to the Browns No.65 pick.

As a son of Nigerian immigrants, Ogunjobi did not grow up accustomed to American football. He did not get exposed to playing the game until his sophomore year of high school. He earned a scholarship to UNC-Charlotte, where his freshman year was the inaugural season of varsity football. Ogunjobi has the distinct honor of being the first Charlotte 49er to be selected in the NFL draft.

For the Browns, Ogunjobi will fit in as a 3-technique in the middle of their defense. He can most likely rotate in with 2015 first-round selection Danny Shelton right away. Evaluators do however describe Ogunjobi as raw, and it will take some time for him to develop the skills to be a full time starter. The potential is there though.
