The Cleveland Browns have signed half of their ten 2017 draft picks, but have yet to sign the biggest names from the class.

The Cleveland Browns have made solid progress in agreeing to contracts with their 2017 draft class.

Larry Ogunjobi signing a deal on Thursday means five of the 10 picks have been signed. The only problem is that the top four picks have yet to be signed.

Along with Caleb Brantley, the Browns have yet to sign Myles Garrett, Jabrill Peppers, David Njoku and DeShone Kizer. This is nothing to be worried about at this point in time, but it would be nice to get the deals done sooner than later, avoiding even the talk of any potential holdouts.

It would be shocking if deals didn’t happen soon with the four not named Garrett, as their pay is rather set it stone based on the draft slot. The same is true for Garrett, but it makes sense to take time and hash out the specific language in the contract, ensuring the best deal for the No. 1 overall pick.

Once again, it is early so still no need to worry. At least not yet.

We take a look at this and more in today’s edition of the Daily Dawg Tags.
