The Cleveland Browns are entering the summer with Cody Kessler as the starting quarterback, but that hasn’t made Brock Osweiler any less confident.

May is about to give way to June which will give way to July before we know it. And after that comes the preseason and finally the regular season, ushering in yet another year of Cleveland Browns football.

With the quarterback position once again being the focus, it is no surprise that a lot of Browns fans are talking about one of the team’s backups.

Brock Osweiler recently declared the proof of why he is still an NFL starter is in his game film, causing his haters to laugh and his supporters to point to his 2015 season with the Denver Broncos and his flashes of success in 2016 with the Houston Texans.

It wasn’t some defensive statement made in an annoyed manner, but rather it showed he still has the confidence to be a starter in the NFL. Laughing at that doesn’t make sense, at least if fans want players on the team to believe they can be great not only as individuals, but as a collective unit.

Osweiler is certainly not worth the money given to him by the Texans, but he still has NFL starting experience and can help the young quarterbacks on the roster. Let’s take a look at that and more in today’s edition of the Daily Dawg Tags.
