Rumors Of Randy Lerner’s Demise Have Been Greatly Exaggerated
For weeks fans have been calling for Mr. Lerner to be more visible, and not spend all his time with his other football club, Aston Villa. Today those fans got their wish.
In a 60 minute interview with the local media, Lerner stated that he is…
"contemplating major changes in the offseason to correct the team’s slide during a season that started with playoff expectations."
However he would not specifically comment on the futures of both Romeo Crennel or Phil Savage. Only further stating that…
"I’m going to take the issues and the concerns and the criticisms very seriously and think through things and evaluate them and deal with them in January."
Lerner also stated that he would not “throw in the towel” and sell the team, he also addressed the rumors that UnderArmor founder Ken Plank had been in contact about purchasing the franchise.
Well all we as fans can do now is sit and hope and pray that things do in fact get better next season.
Oh and as a parting gift………24-35, that’s the team’s record since Romeo and Phil were hired.
