The carnival is back in town folks!!

Step up to the Cleveland Browns merry-go-round and watch the quarterback carousel go round and round once again.  Yup, it’s definitely not a typo or some cruel joke.  The Browns have called upon backup quarterback Jason Campbell, to start this weekend against the Kansas City Chiefs.

And then there were twenty.

Once again surfing through twitter verse the famous quarterback jersey picture reared its ugly head.  Here is just one of many tweets on the subject with the infamous picture attached tweeted out by 92.3 The Fans, Daryl Ruiter.

At this point in the season to be fair to the other ten guys in the huddle a change had to be made.  It’s a tough situation making this switch.  Putting Jason Campbell in at this juncture all but seals the deal on the end of the Brandon Weeden era.  It would be really difficult to go back to him for the third time this season, unless of course Campbell somehow gets injured, then all bets are off.  But barring that unforeseen  circumstance, we have probably seen the last of Weeden in a Browns uniform.

Although the end of the Weeden era seems like a forgone conclusion, checking in on some of the Browns faithful, some of them have a  different spin on it.

This very well could be Browns coach  Rob Chudzinski giving Weeden a chance to regain his composure and regroup for a second half run.  None of us know what is gonna happen with this situation, but most would agree the writing is on the wall for Weeden.

So…Here we are again Browns fans.

Since 1999, the  jersey above has filled up with so many names that the tape of names is almost nearing the floor.  Twenty names now in all,  hanging off the back of that jersey starting with Tim Couch fourteen long years ago.  One thing is for sure, there will definitely be at least a couple more names put on that jersey, but let’s hope for the sake of the Cleveland Browns organization, the next one starting in May is the last for a while!!

Check out the fun little poll at the bottom guys!!
