2. Mindset
The Browns have a huge divisional game against the Cincinnati Bengals on Thursday Night. That game will have far less significance if the Browns lose today. If the Browns overlook the Bucs and start thinking about the game 4 days later it could be disastrous for the season. Going into TNF with a 5 – 3 record means they could lose and still come out of 9 games with a winning record. A loss puts a ton of pressure on a game against a team many expected to run away with the division. The amount of passion you see from the Browns in the first 2 quarters will be telling.

Factory of Sadness
The mindset of Tampa Bay will also be interesting. The Bucs have waved the white flag with two trades of previous defensive starters. The first season under Lovie Smith has not been what the team expected. With big signings of Johnson, Alterraun Verner, Josh McCown, Evan Dietrich-Smith, trading for Logan Mankins and drafting Mike Evans and Austin Seferian-Jenkins this was expected to be a big season for the Bucs. Instead the players have struggled with their fit in the Lovie system. Will they now play fast and loose or will they be thinking about their off-season plans while wishing they weren’t in the cold of Cleveland? Their mindset could be just as important as the Browns.
