Cleveland Browns 2015: Predicting Every Game
By Paul Noel
Week 4: Cleveland Browns at San Diego Chargers
when looking at the week 4 match-up in San Diego let go ahead and make the assumption that the Chargers haven’t pulled the trigger and traded away QB Philip Rivers. River is a legit threat against any team, any given Sunday and the Browns are no exception. The only weakness I see in the Chargers is the offensive line, which lead to several issues last season. If the Browns want to win this game the secondary needs to be able to cover well, and allow the defense to collapse the pocket around Rivers.
The Chargers like the Browns have some need for improvement along the offensive and defensive lines. The key to this game is going to be “defense”; Can the Browns get to Rivers? Can the Browns throw the ball against the Chargers? The forever optimist in me says this will be a closer game than experts think. Look for the Browns to keep it close but lose late on a field goal.
Prediction: L, 17-14
Browns (3-1)
