Glenn Winston

Age: 26

Experience: 2 years

Contract status: Free agent 2017

Winston was claimed off waivers prior to the 2014 season after being released by the San Francisco 49ers. Winston has battled injuries since joining the Browns, resulting in him only being active for a total of eight games in two years. Winston finally received his first career start as a Brown in December against the 49ers, where he fumbled and sustained a concussion. This has been Winston’s only carry as a member of the team.

2015 stats:

Winston rushed the ball one time for minus-eight yards and appeared in three games.

2016 outlook:

Winston was acquired by former general manager Ray Farmer, who highly praised him at the time. However, Winston hasn’t been able to be healthy enough to contribute on the field, and the new Browns regime will most likely look in different areas to improve the running back position.

D. Winston was barely active to make any sort of meaningful impact. The only play fans will remember is his one carry and subsequent fumble.. FB. Cleveland Browns. GLENN WINSTON
