Round 3, Pick 65: Nick Martin, C, Notre Dame

All signs point towards Pro Bowl Center Alex Mack opting out of his contract and testing free agency; honestly, who could blame him. If Cam Erving’s rookie season was any indication, Cleveland could want to pickup another center. While it could be a stretch to have Martin fall to the third round, with the Browns having the second pick of the round, it isn’t impossible.

Martin’s effectiveness in both the run and pass game will be a welcome sight for Cleveland who will want to improve their running game after it took most of the season to really get it going, and now protect their new quarterback.

Round 4, Pick 96: Shawn Oakman, DE/DL, Baylor

Oakman is a freak when it comes to size, but the same can’t necessarily be said for his on the field play. While he does not have the strongest numbers for an edge rusher, his size, along with their dismal finish in rush defense last year, could warrant the Browns taking a flyer on day four.
