Laquon Treadwell would immediately address the lack of size in the Browns receiving corps. Listed at 6-foot-2 and 221 pounds, he has similar size to Josh Gordon and dwarfs Andrew Hawkins and Taylor Gabriel. Only Terrelle Pryor would be significantly bigger than Treadwell, and whether Pryor makes the team is in question.

Treadwell would fit the mould that Jackson is looking for in a wide receiver, as the coach has repeatedly stated a desire to have size at the position, such as he had in Cincinnati with Green, Mohamed Sanu and Marvin Jones. The tall, long-armed Treadwell would add a physical presence to the Browns. It is likely that they could utilise his size and physicality on the outside and in the slot

In addition to his skills as a wide receiver, Treadwell was also a quarterback in high school. He was used on trick plays at Ole Miss, even throwing a touchdown pass in 2015. Jackson used Sanu under center as offensive coordinator of the Cincinnati Bengals and Treadwell would offer him the same ability as a part-time gadget player.
