It’s no secret the Browns quarterbacks have been awful since the team returned in 1999. Year after year the team trots out another lamb to sacrifice to the wolves and fans watch as quarterback after quarterback has fallen by the wayside.

Jackson brought in Robert Griffin III to try his hand at being the guy to lead the Browns into the future. Griffin, who faced adversity during his time in Washington, comes in with everything to prove as this may be his last chance to be a starter in the NFL.

Griffin’s workout before signing with the Browns reportedly blew Jackson away and left him believing Griffin could be the guy.

Griffin’s desperation to succeed and prove the doubters wrong, along with the Browns desperation to find their quarterback, could make this a perfect match at the perfect time.
