The latest episode of the DPD Podcast focuses on how the Cleveland Browns blew five scoring opportunities in the Week 5 loss to the New York Jets.

Apathy may be setting in for some Cleveland Browns fans as the team has opened yet another season with five straight losses. It is hard to make this stuff up.

The latest loss came in a game the Browns should have won, and won big. Five scoring chances were blown, including three from deep in opposing territory.

We broke it down in the latest episode of the DPD Podcast.

This is our 30th episode, and those who have been listening since the beginning know we have come a long way in terms of quality. No more crackling microphones!

Andrew and I still dream of the day when we can break down a win, but that doesn’t appear to be likely anytime soon. The Browns head to Houston this Sunday, followed by a return home to play Tennessee before they head to London to take on the Minnesota Vikings.

It is hard to see any of those as potential victories, especially with the way the Browns continue to blow seemingly easy scoring chances in astonishing ways.

Next: Firing Hue Jackson would be a terrible move

We will be back on Friday for a preview of the Week 6 game against the Houston Texans, which will be known as the game in which Browns fans get an in-depth look at the latest quarterback passed up on in the draft. It will be a fun one.
