Browns: Top 5 defensive line targets in the 2018 NFL Draft
1. Bradley Chubb, NC State
North Carolina State University’s Bradley Chubb is the Myles Garrett of his class. If not for the incredible quarterback talents on the west coast, and the Cleveland Browns’ desperate need for a quarterback, he would likely go number one overall.
Not only is Chubb a physical monster with freakishly athletic skillset, but he also showed it in the box scores as an incredible defensive end with the Wolfpack. Chubb is a bookend defender, and it showed throughout his college career, especially in 2017.
The 6-foot-4, 275-pound Chubb is a force to be reckoned with, and a game breaker against any collegiate left tackle. In 2017 alone, he collected 73 tackles (25 of which were for a loss), along with three forced fumbles and 10 sacks.
All season long, Chubb terrorized opposing quarterbacks, and showed himself to be an elite talent for any team needing defensive help at the top of the draft. So, would the Browns realistically be able to get him?
Well, the stars would need to align in more than one way. The Browns, first and foremost, need more help in other places. They would need a quarterback in free agency, along with defensive secondary help and some pieces on offense, before they would consider taking Chubb with the top overall pick.

Right now, almost every mock draft under the sun has Chubb going to Indianapolis. He would be a great fit helping out Matt Patricia and the Colts’ defense. But is it possible that he becomes a Cleveland Brown in April? Yes. Is it likely? Absolutely not.
